Policies and disclosures

Clear expectations build trust.

This page explains the public-information boundaries for the website, chatbot, booking path, consultations, and images.

01

Website privacy

This website is not a patient portal. It provides public, general information and does not ask visitors to send health details, treatment history, medications, symptoms, or photos.

02

Chatbot boundaries

The Tru Skin chatbot provides general information and navigation only. Do not use this website or its chatbot to send photos, symptoms, medication information, diagnoses, or other private health details. It cannot diagnose, assess suitability, recommend treatment, or provide emergency help.

03

Booking through Vagaro

Vagaro is the external booking destination. Appointment availability and the booking terms shown during booking are provided by Vagaro. Information entered there is governed by Vagaro’s own notices and policies.

04

Educational information

Website information is educational. It does not provide medical diagnosis or replace a personal assessment with Mari or, where appropriate, a licensed medical provider.

05

Treatment suitability

No treatment is suitable for every person. Final eligibility, preparation, recovery, aftercare, and pricing may require a personal evaluation and treatment-specific guidance.

06

Results and photography

Individual results vary. No description, photograph, or consultation guarantees an outcome. Before-and-after images are used only with permission and accurate context; they are not a promise of a similar result.

07

HIPAA status

This public-information website does not claim HIPAA compliance and is not designed to receive protected health information. If Tru Skin later adds private patient intake, an AI service, or another feature that handles protected health information, it must receive appropriate professional and vendor review before use.
